Let’s Speak Out at EVERY Open Mic!

If you are seeking a powerful way to engage government as an individual, this is how we do it. It’s a technique used for years for all manner of advocacy. We can do it for democracy, too.
Resources to get started are right here.
As we know supporters of democracy in the US Congress have been largely silenced by those who have abdicated their responsibility to protect the Constitution to the radical members of the Executive Branch. Their voices may have been quelled, but the people can still speak.
There are THOUSANDS of public speaking opportunities all around the country. They happen every time there’s a local, county, or state public meeting, including municipal government, school boards, and other public meetings.
In every state, Sunshine and Open Meeting Laws make this possible, and we can use these laws to get our message out demanding restoration of our democracy and the norms we know and need.
Protests are great, and must happen, but we can do public speeches ourselves, individually, and we must take the opportunities as they are presented.
Please keep reading, and PLEASE take a small step to let your local government officials know that what’s going on is NOT NORMAL and NOT OKAY!
